Tuesday, Aug. 21st.. 2:20

Here is the mid afternoon update. Dana had a restful night. The did do the Echo this morning but we're still waiting on the results. We're also waiting on culture results to determine the source of his higher temperature. The orthopedic physicians just re-splinted his left arm. We're also still waiting to hear when the next surgery will happen.

Over and out for now from the Virtual Waiting Room.

Hi Carr Family,

Thank you for keeping us all up to date through this blog. It is encourgagin to see how Dana progresses. He has come so far in the past week, I am sure with his strong will and determination, and the support of all of you, he will continue to improve. I continue to think of you often, and you all are in my prayers.

Love
Reggie

Rick, Linda, Jessy, Courtney and all,
Thanks for the continuing updates. You know we wait eagerly for each and every one. It is great that you can send such positive news. There is no doubt that your boy is a fighter and will do everything he can on his part. We think of and pray for all of you. This is a very exhausting process as you wait for additional info from the doctors and staff.
We send you a big HUG. Pass it around.

Dana and Family,
A hearfelt salutation from your distant cousins. We learned of Dana's story from Audrey, my mother, Ernestine's dearest cousin/more-like-sister.

Although my mother's interpretation of Audrey's explanation of a blog was somewhere cold and wet, where cranberries grow, we managed to find you.

Hooray for Dana's valiant fighting!

You are in our thoughts and hearts. And we hope that Dana's next 3,000 mile bike trip swings though San Diego County. Tell him we have a cold one waiting for him!

Love from the Rix's, Barb, Bill, and Samantha

Court,
I am thinking of you and Dana and keeping Ya'll in my prayers. I've known you long enough and know what a fighter you are, keep it up for the both of you. I am thinking of ya'll and am glad to hear of Dana's improvement each day. I send my love and prayers from TN so does the rest of the Sabino clan. Love you, Amanda
