Greetings from the waiting room.
Dana continues to be a "Chatty Cathy" and has been awake a lot today. We would really like to see him sleeping and resting a little more and we imagine the nurses would as well, especially those on night duty! Oh well, guess you can't keep a good man down!
Dana asked when the docs were going to fix his arm and we were happy to tell him tomorrow!
We hope all our family and friends visiting us this weekend had safe travels home.

It was great to see Dana today- we had such a nice visit with him (he's so talkative)! He is truly an amazing person. It was so nice to see you today Courtney, Linda, and Jessie (Rick we're sorry we missed you!), you all continue to be in our thoughts!

Great that you got a shave, a haircut, and are chatting everyone up Dana...'cause Grandma plans to come see you again Thursday (9/6). If you were able to eat solid foods and you soon will, Grandma no doubt would have brought recycled containers (as we all know, Grandma is WAY ahead of her time in recycling (AND ice cream)!)of her home-baked cookies, one for you and one for Courtney. OK so Court may get some this time. For you? NEXT time for sure!

Hoping Dana got some sleep last night and that all of you had a peaceful night also. Will be praying all day that Dana's surgery goes well and am looking forward to yet another positive update later. Always in my thoughts and prayers.......
